As the suicidal that kicks away the chair that supports his body, in order to not choke with the rope that is around his neck, Ecuador abandons its democratic life as the strong social destructive conduct makes pressure. We have destroyed some of the fundamental principles that support a civilized society. The Truth: thieves preach honesty, or a terrorist sells us the idea that the FARC are doing a legitimate fight, when they talk in front of the cameras, plus the insensitive vision of the media that have lost its historical role; then we can say that Ecuador has decided not to believe, we have lost the public faith. |

The remittances, and the oil exportations, the direct foreign investment, and the foreign tourism, are the main income sources of dollars in Mexico. The Mexican transferences of people living outside Mexico, make a total of 13 thousand 400 million dollars in 2003 and 16 thousand 600 million dollars in 2004, obtaining a maximum historic cipher, and representing a 2.5% of the GIP of 640 thousand million dollars in the same year. The central bank and the analysts predict that the foreign remittances will increase to 20 thousand million dollars at the end of 2005. This happens because of the quantity of electronic transactions – the main source for sending remittances- increased 22% between January and April 2005. Meanwhile, the average value of the remittances increased to 340 dollars in April, from the average of 334 dollars registered in March.

The new government, with the president of Ecuador at the head and his Minister Correa as spokesman, interpret the popular feeling against the IMF, when they include in their communication strategy, an aggressive speech and with confrontation with the credit international organizations. Several media, in the new role they have assigned themselves, in which they openly take part for determined causes, have lost objectivity in information and have created a public opinion environment, which makes responsible to the credit organizations, of a great part of the bad things that happen in the country. This way, it is popular for the rulers in turn, to announce that they will drive the country, far from those who offer one of the few financing sources for the Ecuadorian economy. |

During my twelve years as a public server I must been asked around 200 times, what we could do in order to grow more as a country. In the same way I asked the same question to many people that crossed my way. From Michael Porter from USA until Gokul Awargalla from India; all of them answered with some theory which was partially true and there were examples to prove it; but none of them could transmit its strategy in practical actions. They could turn an idea into words, but they couldn’t turn the word into action, because none of them have had the responsibility of risking their necks, in order to put that vision into practice. Also because the implementation and execution of a strategy doesn’t concern the advisers, it concerns those that hire him. |
